Overnight Success Was Years In The Making

Arguably Sean Wood and Steve Goodey of PropertyTutors Limited are two of New Zealand’s the most successful property mentors. They are still active property investors with sizable property portfolios.

While other high profile property investors have succumbed to some of the toughest market conditions New Zealand has experienced over the last couple of decades, Sean and Steve have not only survived they have thrived and so too have the portfolios of many of their PropertyTutors clients.

New Zealanders are not particularly good savers but we love investing in residential property.  Somewhat reluctantly even our renown Economists including Gareth Morgan are on record suggesting if you have the means purchase more rental property.

How you become a successful property investor requires more than just desire ,motivation and money.  We all remember Blue Chip and how many budding investors lost out.  Like any business property investment will not survive on a wing and a prayer.  Knowledge, systems, tax and finance structures, and what we call a ‘power team’ are all required.  You will also need personal qualities like discipline and patience – which is not always inherent. A lot of hard work is also required.

The ‘overnight success’ is indeed years in the making.  >> Download the new eBook << Property Investing Lessons – the latest eBook from PropertyTutors.  Find out the lessons Steve and Sean learned and share with their mentoring students.
